Mike Woods began working in the electrical business at a young age. While in high school, Mike worked hard for $3.00 an hour with his father, a licensed electrician; while also attending trade classes through the Robeson County Career Center. As a young adult, Mike took his work ethic to the National Guard where he served as active and reserves. Eventually Mike went back to school and honed his trade through a 1 year install program and then a 2 year electrician program. In his early career, Mike worked for several plants before deciding he wanted more for himself. As a result, M-W Electric, Inc. was founded in 1997 in his home with wife, Kimberly Woods.

 Over the past 21 years we have grown from a 2-man operation to a large commercial electrical construction company employing over 50 people. We work on large scale projects such as new schools and government buildings, always striving for progress.

As our company continues to grow we make sure the focus of our business always remains on people and on family. At M-W Electrical Inc. we know the employees are what make our business successful and we try to ensure our field employees are never short on work.

Looking forward to the future, Mike and Kimberly's three children are following in their parent's footsteps. All three have entered into the business and learning the trade in hopes that one day, they will run the company as their parents do now. We are excited for what lies ahead and the continued progression of M-W Electrical, Inc.
